I liked the way my character, Shane, was first introduced. You get introduced to her through this sexual action, and I thought that was so cool and just kind of summed up what she enjoys and who she is, to a certain extent. She's a complete sexual being and the great thing is that she doesn't apologize for it. It's just who she is. We rarely see women be able to do that on television. Katherine Moennig

You know, women have a history of just being - we've been told all our lives not to say - in the fifties you couldn't say birth or even be pregnant hardly on television - and then gradually things have changed. Cybill Shepherd
Politics is there the way men and women are there, the way the Atlantic Ocean is there. Sometimes I've written about politics specifically, I mean about politics as it's understood on television and in newspapers. Kenneth Koch
If we are to perpetuate the state, we must not only produce citizens, but good citizens - men and women of sound bodies, clear minds and clean souls. Arthur Capper
If our vaunted rule of the people does not breed nobler men and women than monarchies have done it must and will inevitably give place to something better. Anna Julia Cooper
There is only one situation I can think of in which men and women make an effort to read better than they usually do. It is when they are in love and reading a love letter. Mortimer Adler
At least 50 times. I've jumped off a building, jumped off a cliff in a car. I've been in bedrooms when women came in with knives and guns. Dennis Rodman
As the war on terror continues, Americans must honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for the protection of this nation and the hope of peace. Dan Lipinski
