A Saturday afternoon 4

Dr. Blitzkopf: Ah, yes, Edward. Nice old guy. He's been here longer

than anybody.

Laura: What's wrong with him?

Dr. Blitzkopf: Nothing. His family put him here 40 years ago. They

never come to visit him, but the bills are always paid on time.

Laura: But what had he done?

Dr. Blitzkopf: He burned down his school when he was 17. Over the

next few years there were a number of mysterious fires in his

neighborhood, but the family did nothing until he tried to set fire

to the family mansion. He was in here the next day. Edward never

protested.

Laura: And that was 40 years ago?!

Dr. Blitzkopf: I'm afraid so.

Laura: But he couldn't still be dangerous!

Dr. Blitzkopf: No. If he'd wanted to start a fire, he could have done

it at any time.

Dr. Blitzkopf: Ah, evet, Edward. Yaşlı şirin adam. O, herkesten uzun

süredir burada.

Laura: Onun sorunu nedir?

Dr. Blitzkopf: Hiçbir şey. Ailesi onu 40 yıl önce buraya koydu. Onu

Laura: Ama o ne yapmıştı?

Dr. Blitzkopf: 17 yaşındayken okulunu yaktı. Sonraki birkaç yıl

malikanesini ateşe verene dek ailesi hiçbir şey yapmadı. Ertesi gün

buradaydı. Edward hiç itiraz etmedi.

Laura: Ve bu 40 yıl önce miydi?!

Dr. Blitzkopf: Korkarım öyle.

Laura: Ama hala tehlikeli olamaz!

Dr. Blitzkopf: Hayır. Eğer yangın başlatmak isteseydi, bunu her zaman
